As the company continues to grow, we are looking for a talented Business Development Executive to focus on proposal writing and customer relationship management.

Role Overview:
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities by crafting compelling proposals, responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will work closely with the sales and technical teams to understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and ensure a seamless communication flow with clients. Your success will directly impact the company’s ability to acquire new business and retain long-term customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Writing: Lead the proposal process by writing clear, persuasive, and technically accurate proposals in response to RFPs, tenders, and client inquiries. Tailor proposals to meet the specific needs of each client, highlighting the company’s solar solutions and value proposition.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Serve as the main point of contact for customers during the proposal and project execution phases.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to gather detailed requirements, understand their business challenges, and propose tailored solar solutions that align with their needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with sales, engineering, and technical teams to develop solutions that meet client specifications. Ensure that proposals are aligned with internal capabilities and project requirements.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform the proposal development process and identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team by providing them with all the necessary proposal materials, customer data, and insights to help close deals.
  • Contract Management: Assist with contract negotiation and ensure that terms and conditions are aligned with both client expectations and company policies.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, proposals, and sales opportunities. Provide regular updates on progress and results to senior management.
  • Client Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Gather client feedback to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in future proposals and customer interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in business development, proposal writing, or a related field, preferably in the renewable energy, construction, or engineering industries.
  • Proposal Writing Skills: Strong writing skills with the ability to develop clear, concise, and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate technical information and business value.
  • Customer Relationship Focused: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to identify client needs and match them with company solutions, working closely with sales teams to close deals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the solar energy industry or a strong interest in renewable energy is preferred.
  • Technical Understanding: A basic understanding of solar energy products and systems would be a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals and client accounts simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail in proposal development and contract negotiations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and be proactive in seeking new business opportunities.
